Artists Statement
My goal is to take visual art to a new level. I would love for it to form into an entertainment, with not only art lovers but also the masses. Perhaps I will remove visual creation from its mundane deep plateau. I will extend interactivity between my self as a creator, my muse, cultures and the communities around me. I would love for my audience to witness the magic of my creation. Helping them understand and love the cultural power and influence that it can have.
I love a seductive honesty in my work; personalities and the way I can paint them can achieve this. I find that the nude form is often shied from. I feel it is the most natural form to paint. The lack of attire allows me to see past our everyday material that gives us a so called individuality. Certain vulnerabilities are exposed with my muse, yet they feel comfortable with my presence. I truly see them as an individual mind and body.
Though nudity can easily be found in our homes, are taught morals ignore the natural and we tend to withhold insecurities around the subject. As human beings we should be free of such insecurities and just except it as a beautiful thing. As a refined painter I will release myself from the limits of society, exposing my romantic life and the finished piece it will bring to the public eye. The viewers of my paintings will enter my world as I create from the live muse on pubic display. I will persuade the public by remaining interactive in my exhibitions that are an art form in itself. They will see her true beauty. All sexual perversions will seem dismissed as they become lost in the moment of this created environment. They will see her as I see her, and than enter their own created world through this experience.
Women, like my painting are a true passion of mine. The seductive power they have over me is unrepressed. I can’t deny the sexual, and the spiritually emotional influence they have over my refined practices. They become a prize to my heart as they become a part of me through my paintings. It is true love in a sense, without the poisons that love usually carries. The muse and I carry a special bond that cannot be easily broken and may be difficult to understand.
I paint their soul along with mine, like sex on canvas. I give them a foreign pleasure that no one else can give. Memorable and always seen by how I’ve captured them on canvas. I’m always emotionally connected with my muse. I transfer this feeling to the viewer through my paintings. I welcome those to my painted journal.
